Chatting from the Big Gray Chair

There is just so much going on in the world today that I find more and more comfort in just grabbing a crochet hook and pattern and cloistering myself in my chair with yarn and hook. However, this will never do since I have five wonderful grandchildren and three children that will not let me do it. So, It is finding the balance between the outside chaos, family, business, and fun. Seventy-four and I still haven't found that out but am seriously leaning toward the fun side.  Anyway, I did finish two projects that I not only enjoyed doing but am very pleased with the results. From my desk, I can eye up my file and shelf of patterns and am itching to search through for something interesting to do next.
